Who would have thought the Paris RATP trash system could inspired new ways of dancing? We are joking of course. The new track representation is actually a shift in the way Latona calculates and corrects for collisions.
The easiest shape to calculate collisions is the circle. It is very easy because the distance between the center points must be less than the sum of the radiuses for the bodies not to overlap. When you move outside the simple circle representation, you need to use other more complicated technics but the calculations are more accurate and better representative of the dimensions of the human body.
Yahoo!! Progress is made. And our solution is a lot less smelly than the RATP trash bin!
